Local Chiropractor Honored at Statewide Meeting
Dr. Bruce Weisbein, D.C. of Cedar Rapids was honored by the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City District of the Iowa Chiropractic Society (ICS) at its ICS Annual Convention 2006, March 25 in West Des Moines. The ICS Annual Convention 2006 was attended by a record number of 400 chiropractors, students, assistants, and technicians. This honor was bestowed by Dr. Weisbein’s colleagues in the chiropractic profession and thus represents a high achievement.
The District Award for “Exceptional Commitment” was presented to Dr. Weisbein, for his service to the ICS Cedar Rapids/Iowa City District, by the Immediate Past Director of the ICS Cedar Rapids/Iowa City District, Dr. Douglas Berry. A member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society since 2002, Dr. Weisbein has served the Society at the District level, serves as a topic advisor to his fellow chiropractors, and was recently elected the District Director for the ICS Cedar Rapids/Iowa City District.
The Iowa Chiropractic Society represents chiropractic physicians of Iowa and the patients they serve. Founded in 1964, the Society offers educational programs, products, and services that improve the effectiveness of its members and the quality of care they provide to their patients.
